Makita 12V CXT cordless tools

Makita 12V max CXT tools are compact and lightweight. They are suitable for interior work, furniture assembly, electrical and plumbing work, and for use in tight spaces.

CXT batteries are compatible with all CXT tools, but not with 18V LXT or 40V XGT tools.

Models marked with a Z (e.g., DHP486Z) are tool-only, without a battery or charger. If you already own a battery from the same platform, this is the most cost-effective option. Sets include batteries, a charger, and often a Makpac case.

Makita tools come with a 3-year warranty if you register the tool in the MyMakita portal within 4 weeks of purchase. Batteries, chargers, and accessories are not covered by the extended warranty.
