Makita 40V XGT cordless tools

Makita 40V max XGT is a platform for heavy-duty and continuous work. XGT tools are designed for construction and manufacturing where the power of an 18V tool is not enough: rotary hammers, angle grinders, circular saws, and outdoor power equipment.

XGT batteries are compatible only with XGT tools. Makita offers free testing of XGT tools for companies (makita.ee).

Models with the letter Z (e.g., DHP486Z) are tools only, without a battery or charger. If you already have a battery for the same platform, this is the most economical choice. Kits include batteries, a charger, and often a Makpac case.

You can get a 3-year warranty for your Makita tool by registering it in the MyMakita environment within 4 weeks of purchase. Batteries, chargers, and accessories are not covered by the extended warranty.
