Makita 18V LXT cordless tools, batteries and chargers

The Makita 18V LXT is Makita’s largest battery platform. A single 18V LXT battery fits all LXT tools: drills, impact drivers, saws, sanders, vacuum cleaners, and garden tools. This means you buy the battery and charger once and only the tools thereafter.

Many LXT tools feature a brushless motor: it is more efficient, runs longer on a single charge, and requires less maintenance. Some high-power tools use two 18V batteries simultaneously (2×18V).

Models with a Z-suffix (e.g., DHP486Z) are tool-only, without a battery and charger. If you already own a battery from the same platform, this is the most cost-effective option. Sets include batteries, a charger, and often a Makpac case.

Makita tools come with a 3-year warranty if you register them in the MyMakita portal within 4 weeks of purchase. Batteries, chargers, and accessories are not covered by the extended warranty.

Buy from an official Makita dealer: Vaaros, Pärnu tn 8, Paide. Orders are delivered in 3–5 working days or can be picked up from the store. Delivery is free on orders over €150.
