Makita multi-tools

A multi-tool (universal tool) cuts, sands, and scrapes with interchangeable blades. It is suitable for precise cuts in tight spaces, e.g., near baseboards and door frames.

A model with the letter Z (e.g., DHP486Z) is the tool only, without a battery or charger. If you already have a battery for the same platform, this is the most economical choice. Sets include batteries, a charger, and often a Makpac case.

Makita tools come with a 3-year warranty if registered in the MyMakita environment within 4 weeks of purchase. Batteries, chargers, and accessories are not covered by the extended warranty.
