Makita batteries and chargers: LXT, XGT, CXT

Choose your battery based on your tool platform: 18V LXT batteries are compatible with LXT tools, 40V XGT batteries with XGT tools, and 12V CXT batteries with CXT tools. Higher capacity (Ah) provides a longer runtime, while a smaller battery is lighter.

A fast charger typically charges a Makita battery in under an hour. A dual-port charger charges two batteries simultaneously. The technical specifications on each product page list the compatible batteries and charging time.
